5 Habits that will Make Your Morning More Organised | Victoria Jiju
One of the key ways to have the most productive morning routine before you head to school/college/work is to prepare. The quote 'fail to prepare or prepare to fail' fits so well with this process. If you follow these 5 habits you are much more likely to have a super smooth morning and get out the door on time. So here you go, 5 habits that will help organise your morning.
1. Set Out Your Clothes
By setting your entire outfit the night before including; clothes, accessories, shoes, and bag you will save yourself so much time in the morning. Ever looked in your wardrobe and thought I have nothing to wear? Then spent the next 20 minutes trying on combinations that lie in a pile on the floor? Me too. So save that 20 minutes of frantic frustration, and do the hard work the night before. All you'll have to do is get dressed and you'll have all the extra time for sleep or breakfast.
2. Prepare Your Lunch
Similarly, prepare your lunch. Have your lunch ready to put in your bag and go. It can save so much time in the morning as its prepared. Moreover, if you take the time to plan your meal the night before it is much more likely to be nutritious as it's well thought out and not rushed. Nobody has time to make a super healthy, well-fuelled lunch with only 5 minutes left before you need to leave. Think smart, prepare your lunch the night before and leave with a nutritious meal.
3. Get up When the Alram Goes Off
It sounds so simple, right? But why can it be so hard? I know it's so tempting to press the snooze button and roll over - I'm guilty of it myself. Although, if you want a super productive morning routine try and break this habit. Getting out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off will allow you the right amount of time to get organised for your day. Start your day in the right way and get up on time.
4. Set Your Breakfast Up
Before you go to bed the night before make sure all the ingredients for your breakfast are super handy and accessible. Set your coffee mug on the counter along with your cereal bowl or plate. It will save you a few minutes at most but it's a few minutes you can spend doing something else the next morning.
5. Pack Your Bag
Whether you're at school or work make sure your bag is packed. Check your schedule for the next day see what you may need and get packing. Regardless if its files, books, or other necessities make sure you set yourself up for the best day possible. All you need to do is add your lunch and you're ready to go.
Following these 5 habits, you can gain so much time that may have been wasted thinking of what to wear or prepare. Your morning routine should now be smooth running and efficient. Not only does that mean you're super organised and ready to go the next morning, but it should also set you up for the best day possible. You will know you have all the right things you require and you're looking killer.

Setting up clothes is a great tip, especially if you're heading out the door for school or work first thing in the morning. I stopped doing it for the pandemic since I'm staying at home, but I bet it will help with motivation and productivity! Thanks for the tips :)
ReplyDeleteI know everything went so strange during the pandemic. Now things are getting back on track it's definitely something worthwhile.
